Six reformers, one instructor, no mirrors
Small enough that every position is corrected by hand rather than called across a room. Packages do not expire and the first class costs what it costs us to run.
Four classes on the timetable
All fifty minutes, all capped at six. Which one suits you is a conversation, not a level you pick from a page.
Foundation
For anybody who has not used a reformer. Six weeks before we will let you into anything else, which annoys people who are already fit and is the reason nobody gets hurt in week three.
General
The main timetable, mornings and evenings. Mixed ability, which works at six to a room and would not at twelve.
Post-natal
From twelve weeks, with clearance from whoever is looking after you. We ask for it and we do check — a studio that takes your word for it is a studio taking a risk with your recovery.
One to one
Where a class is wrong for you, or where you are working around something specific alongside a physiotherapist. Priced by the hour and not sold as a package.
Packages, and none of them expire
The commonest thing a studio does is sell ten classes that expire in eight weeks. These do not expire at all, which makes them look dearer and makes them cheaper.
First class
What it costs us to run. Once per person, and no upsell at the end of it.
- ✓One 50-minute class
- ✓Equipment and grip socks
- ✓A conversation about whether this suits you
Ten classes
No expiry. Use them across a year or across three, and they transfer within a household.
- ✓Ten 50-minute classes
- ✓No expiry date, ever
- ✓Transferable within a household
- ✓Booking opens ten days ahead
One to one
By the hour, never in blocks — a block would be us guessing how many you need.
- ✓One 55-minute session
- ✓Written notes afterwards
- ✓Coordination with your physiotherapist if you have one
One room, six machines, no mirrors
Mirrors teach you to check what a movement looks like instead of what it feels like, and in a room of six the instructor is close enough to tell you. Three instructors, all insured, all with over five hundred hours of reformer training — which is a number we can evidence, unlike a certifying school’s name.
Book a place
Pick a day, a class time and how many places. If it is your first, book Foundation — the front desk will move you if you book something else.
Start with the ₹700 class
One class, at cost, with a conversation at the end about whether this is worth your money. Roughly one person in eight is told it is not.
